Dell, one of the largest technology corporations in the world, has added a most recent addition to the world of ultra-portable laptops. The new addition is Dell Vostro 5460, which is known as a lightest and thinnest laptops in its line-up.


It comes in two colors- red and silver. Users can opt for either Standard or Ultrabook configuration, whichever suits their needs and requirements. It has a brushed aluminium chassis. It is only 18.3 mm thin with 1.54 kg weight. You get genuine Windows 8 pre-loaded.

It has 14 inch HD widescreen with 1366*768 TrueType Resolution. It comes with Intel Core i3 Processor and 500 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive. It has HD 4000 graphics or optional 2 GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics chip.


It has an integrated camera of 720 HD 1-mega pixels with microphones. It comes with integrated stereo speakers with dedicated HD powered subwoofer. The keyboard is a full-sized Chiclet and touchpad is type of multi-touch gesture.

Users can share multimedia through USB 3.0 Ports. It has an SD Card Reader slot, an HDMI port, an Ethernet Port (RJ-45) and one Power Share. A headphone/ microphone Combo Jack is also included with the laptop. The battery life is 5 hours. The battery type is 3-cell integrated Lithium Ion.

Cons
Dell Vostro 5460 doesn’t have a touchscreen option. Despite having Windows 8 pre-loaded, it does not provide any kind of touchscreen option.
